  30. I was pointing out that you used a 2400 baud modem for many years on your bbs,
  31. this is pre v.34/v32 times and my guess that is what you are basing your
  32. negative impressions of modems on.  There are a few modems brands yes that have
  33. only v.fast or use proprietary compression schemes and if you want to avoid
  34. them all you have to do is ask before you buy.
